Joan D. Geer

GEER, Joan D. Passed away, January 11, 2022. She was born June 25, 1934 the daughter of the late Robert & Bertha Duncan. Joan was a joy to anyone that had the pleasure of meeting her, according to Joan. She was generous to people that would pay her back for sure and loved everyone around her. Joan had a sharp tongue and mind to go with it, she could make you laugh in a second with her wit and brutal honesty, you knew if you knew her well no one was excluded! She stayed in good humor till the end of her life. Heartfelt thanks to our neighborhood family that helped along the way. Special thanks to Robin Purtee, best friend and rock to mom, Linda Craddock, Brett Poffenburger for their faithful friendship and care, Beth and Danielle Duhl-Back for endless meals, Marvin McClure mom’s friend and handyman, Amy Denton friend and paper pusher, Heather Shoup our personal practitioner & Ken Crawfort special friend and companion. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Grover C. Geer; son Steve Geer. She is survived by her children, Ron, Penny & Dwight Geer and Brenda Cusic, granddaughters, Heather Shoup, Calin Geer, Harrison Geer, special friend Ken Crawfort. Visitation will be Friday, January 28, 2022 from 2-4, with the service to follow at 4pm at TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.
