Janice F. Baker

Janice F. Baker 69, of New Carlisle passed away June 9, 2022. She was born to the late Lawrence & Bernice Baker in Harlan, Kentucky on December 28, 1952. Janice was a caring Mother, Grandmother, sister and friend to all. She will be remembered for being full of life and always a little feisty and independent. She is the best mom in the world not only to her children by birth but many more she took in as her own. She is survived by her son, Charles (Nikki) Baker; daughter Lori Baker; grandchildren, Tyler Baker & Emma Swyers; sisters Diane Baker & Patsy (Roger) Puckett, lifelong partner Charles Puckett, best friends Crystal & Evan, and many other nieces, nephews, and friends. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers Eddie Baker & Lonnie Baker. Visitation will held Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home from 11am-1pm, with the service to honor Janice’s life to follow at 1pm.
