News Death Notice

BURROWS, Janet S. 72 of Springfield passed away January 30, 2016 in Villa Springfield. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on June 20, 1943, the daughter of Claude and Mary Montgomery. Janet retired as a nurse's aide with the Ohio Masonic Home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church on Lower Valley. Janet was preceded in death by her parents and brother Wayne Montgomery. Survivors include her brother Kenneth Montgomery; sisters Loretta (Richard) Johnson, Eula (Earl) Penwell and Joann Martin; nieces and nephew Tammy Hughes, Susan Anderson, Melissa Rivers, Tina Samples and Scott Berner; several great-nieces and great-nephews. Janet's family would like express their thanks for the wonderful care, support and compassion they received from Crossroads Hospice and Villa Springfield. A service to honor Janet will be Tuesday at 2:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
