James William Lopez Jr.

James William Lopez Jr. age 62 of Springfield passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022, at his residence.  He was born the son of James W. & Edith (Vogt) Sr. Lopez on March 21, 1960, in San Diego, California.  He is preceded in death by his parents.  James is survived by his sons James Lopez III of Beavercreek, & Samuel (Randi) Lopez of Springfield; daughters Nikki (Scott) Miller of Springfield, & Laura (Shane) Lopez – DeLaet of Springfield; sister Nancy (Russell) Tuggle of Springfield; grandchildren Leah, William, Eli, Isabella, Ian, Ellie, Edy, & Isla; former wife LeeAnn Lopez; extended family & friends in West Virginia; beloved K9 companions Buster, & Lucky.  James was a loving father, grandfather, brother, & friend.  He will be missed by all of those who love him.  For most of his career he was self-employed, owning several local restaurants, & businesses.  He enjoyed sports, & when the kids were younger, he coached them in football & track.  In his spare time, you could often find him walking the dogs.  Friends & family may call on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, from 5PM -7PM at RICHARDS, RAFF, & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E.
