James "Jim" Charles Spicer, Sr.

June 1, 1950 — November 10, 2022

James “Jim” Charles Spicer, Sr. 72, of Fairborn, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022. He was born to the late Porter & Tootsie Spicer on June 1, 1950, in Pikeville, Kentucky. He was an avid fisherman and loved to spend his mornings at the Fairborn Family Restaurant. Jim loved to go to auctions and estate sales in search of a deal. He is survived by his children, Lana Spicer, Diana (Christopher) Greene, Janice Johnson & James (Mindy) Spicer, Jr.; grandchildren, Adam & Shayne Spicer, Dustyn Eaton, Krystle Wolford, Carrie & Colton Thompson, Kayla Harrop & Natalie Oskowski; 15 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his stepmother, Gertie Spicer; siblings, JP Spicer & Kenner Lee Griffith. Visitation will be held at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home on Friday, November 18th from 1-2pm with a service to follow at 2pm. Burial will take place at New Carlisle Cemetery.
