News Death Notice

BURNS, James W. 84, of Medway, Ohio passed away Friday, February 19, 2016. He was born March 4, 1931 in New Carlisle, Ohio the son of the late William & Floris (Day) Burns. He was the owner of Burns Furniture. He is survived by three sons, James A. & Joan Burns, Phil & Rhonda Burns, Bob & Jan Burns all of New Carlisle; a daughter, Mary E. Davidson of San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Burns in 2006; and a step grandson, Brandon Tyree. Private services at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Medway Baptist Church, 11027 Gerlaugh Rd., Medway, Ohio 45341 or the Bethel Community Church, 4400 Osborn Rd. Medway, Ohio 45341.
