Imogene M. Mcfarland

Imogene M. McFarland 96, of New Carlisle, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2024. She was born in Piqua, Ohio to the late Walter and Mary Erbaugh on June 22, 1927. She was a member of Honey Creek Presbyterian Church for over 60 years where she was an Elder and Sunday School Teacher. Imy worked at Westlake Elementary School as a cook. She was an artist and avid golfer. Imy was a devoted sports fan and loved watching her boys play for the Arrows and supported The Ohio State Buckeyes & Cincinnati Reds. Imy enjoyed taking care of her flowers and planted a vegetable garden every summer. She loved spending time visiting her son in Arizona and riding horses, which she did until 2020 at age 93. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her friends & family. She is survived by her children, Lynn (Bruce) Ratliff, Joe (Deb) McFarland & Kurt McFarland; grandchildren, Dave, Kirstin, Amber, Tara & Tyler; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Harper & Tatum; great greatgrandchildren Maverick & Palmer and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Edward McFarland & sister Glenna Welbaum. Visitation will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 10-11am at Honey Creek Presbyterian Church with a Celebration of Imy’s life beginning at 11 am.
