Hunter Cole

Hunter Cole, 22 of Lakeland, FL, formerly of New Carlisle, passed away with his family by his side on Friday, January 28, 2022. He was born in Dayton, on June 3, 1999, the son of Bryan Cole and Amber Gifford. Hunter loved sports, he played travel baseball and football growing up. After losing his leg to cancer he found a new love of pool. He traveled the country playing this sport, made so many friends as a professional pool player that we can't name them all. Hunter was blessed to have a unity marriage to his lovely companion Sidney Hadler, they stuck together through thick and thin, and she was there beside him till his last day on this earth. We would like to thank everyone for the prayers and kind words through this process.He is preceded in death by his grandfather Larry Gifford and step-grandmother Esther Taulbee. Hunter is survived by his father and step-mother Bryan and Regina Cole; wife Sidney Hadler; mother Amber Gifford; paternal grandparents William Cole and Deborah Sebastian; maternal grandparents Pat Gifford and Keith Locker; step-grandfather Robert Taulbee; siblings Josh and Maddie Gifford; step-siblings Jinae Taulbee, Paislee Clark, John Heathman & Bradly Heathman; uncle Michael Gifford: uncle and aunt Billy and Jenny Cole; aunt and uncle Tina and Scott Hatmaker; aunt Sara Burnett; cousins Bryson Gifford, Jeremy (Kaleigh) Hatmaker, Tabitha Cole and Preston (Chelse) Hatmaker; nieces and nephews Jaylee, Kolt, Laykin, Layla, Lilly and Julian. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 4-8pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home. The service and time of sharing memories of Hunter will be held Friday, February 11, 2022, at 10:00am at the funeral home with burial following at New Carlisle Cemetery.
