Hope Noe, 85, of 4084 Forestedge Street, Tipp City, passed away at 1:05 a.m. Monday morning at her home following a long 3-year battle with cancer. She was born on November 5,1936, in Clay, West Virginia the daughter of the late Robert and Iva Shelton.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Emery Noe of Tipp City; Her daughter Leah (Robert) Crook of Tipp City, Threegrandchildren Sara (Justin) Nelson of New Carlisle, Robert (Allyson) Crook III of Troy, Collette (Shane) Rubel of St. Cloud MN. Five great-grandchildren Elliette Nelson, Evelyn Nelson, Hayden Crook and nephews John (Lisa) Noe and Robert (Donna) Shelton, Rhiannon &Garek Rubel.
Hope was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Iva Shelton, her siblings, Robert "Buddy" Shelton, Karen Joy Shelton, Frank Shelton and Steve Shelton.
Hope graduated from Clay County High School as Valedictorian in 1955 She attended Marshall University for two years. She was married to Emery F. Noe on April 20,1957. She continued her education at Miami University, (Oxford) and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Hope began her teaching career in Miamisburg, Ohio. After two years she moved to Trotwood, Ohio and taught third grade for Trotwood Madison School District at Townview Elementary for 29 years. Prior to her retirement from teaching, she became a licensed realtor. She and her husband moved to the Indian Lake region and became the broker/owners of The Realty Passkey. Her real estate career spanned another 31 years. She was Realtor of the month numerous times and Realtor of the year. She also received the coveted Life-Time Achievement Award.
Hope enjoyed meeting people and talking with them. She loved traveling, fishing in Canada and Lake Erie. She was always ready to take vacations with her family. She loved the Carolina Beaches, Caribbean Cruise Ships, and places where ERA was having their conventions i.e., Washington D.C., Las Vegas, San Antonio, San Francisco and others
What she loved the most was to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She looked forward to going out to dinner with them, and buying them presents. She loved to see them play, laugh, be happy and have fun. Hope was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
Deacon Robert A. Crook will officiate a funeral on December 27, 2021at 12 noon, at the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, 507 West Jefferson Street, New Carlisle, Oh. Viewing and visitation will befrom 11 am - 12 noonprior tothe funeral service. Burial services will be at Laurel Point Cemetery, Newton West Virginia following the funeral.
