WAHLBERG, Helen M. 100 of Springfield died February 2, 2016 in Springfield, Ohio. She was born in Ross County, Ohio on August 18, 1915 the daughter of William Cydrus and Rose Lockhart. Helen enjoyed music and dancing. She had worked at the Borden Dairy in Springfield for many years and Butler furniture manufacturing in Chicago. Helen was preceded in death by her husbands Wayne Rutherford and Bernard Wahlberg; brothers Leroy, Bill, Bob, Ronald and Phillip Cydrus; sisters Kathleen Hayes, Evelyn Leonard, Betty Cline and Phyllis Summers. Survivors include sister Ruth Furrow; step daughter Bonnie Wahlberg; granddaughters Sherry Angeletti and Vicki Stiffler; several nieces and nephews. Services to honor Helen will be Saturday at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Rose Hill Burial Park with a gathering at 10:30AM.
