Helen L. Sowers

Helen L. Sowers age 93 of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly  on Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Ohio Masonic Community.  She was born the daughter of John H. & Mabel (Nicholson) Morgan on July 14, 1931, in Springfield, Ohio.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Walter E. Sowers; sister Phyllis Demana.  Helen is survived by her daughters Bonnie (Bill) Jackson, Susan (Steve) Brown, Nancy (Steve) Blain, Kendra Moline, & Linda (Joe) Kreitz; 4 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, & many friends.  Helen was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church.  In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, working on jigsaw puzzles & word searches.  A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024 11AM at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church 1401 W.
