News Death Notice



MILLER, Harold E. (Butch) 78, of New Carlisle, Ohio, died Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 8, 1937 in Tipp City, Ohio. Harold is survived by his wife of 55 years, Christine (Walters) Miller, son Brian (Barb) Miller, daughter Tammy Miller, three grandchildren, Jeremy (Alexa), Jessie, and Ashley Miller, and numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mildred Miller, sister Bernice, and brother, Arthur Miller. He served in the United States Army December 1960 - 1962. He worked at A.O. Smith 11 years and later at General Motors for 33 years, where he retired. He loved to farm and spend time with his family and friends. He was a devoted member of the New Carlisle Church of Christ. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 19, 2015. Services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday, November 20, 2015 in the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, New Carlisle, Ohio. Burial at the New Carlisle Cemetery following the service.
