Harold G. Dusko

74, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday, November 20, 2016 surrounded by family. Born July 1, 1942 in Tarentum, PA. He was the son of Harold and Josephine (Goralka) Dusko. He graduated from Har-Brack High School, Natrona Heights, PA, Slippery Rock College and earned an MBA from the University of Dayton. Married 53 years to his loving wife Janet (Craig), he was the proud father of 3 sons, Steven (wife Cindy), Christopher and Jeffrey as well as 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Harold worked for over 30 years at WPAFB in the Foreign Technology Division in various positions including research analyst and comptroller. His knowledge and forward thinking were the key factors ushering the imagery organization into the digital era. He was also a professor at Wright State University for 20 years. He taught Cartography, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. Harold enjoyed volunteering at the VA with Healing Waters and the Miami Valley Fly Fishers. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed blacksmithing, flying model airplanes, working on his pickup truck, playing harmonica and spending time with his grand kids. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be 12 noon Wednesday at the Honey Creek Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Honey Creek Presbyterian Church.
