GREGORY S. HOOK

40, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017. He was born April 6, 1977 in Xenia, Ohio, the son of Monty & Karen (Arnett) Hook. He is survived by his parents; a daughter, Kiersten Hook; two brothers, Tony (Marnie) Winget and Brian (Vicki) Winget; a sister, Rebecca Hook; four nephews, Aaron, Alex, Miles and Reid; a paternal grandmother, Mabel Hook; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 4-6 PM Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, September 4, 2017 in the funeral home. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery. When Greg loved, he did it with his whole heart. His family and friends, hunting, fishing, canoeing, football (go Steelers!), and just having a good time and making people laugh - these are the things Greg loved more than anything. He had a laugh almost as big as his heart and was always a champion for the underdogs and those in need. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
