Gramblin Dewayne Hardy

Gramblin Dewayne Hardy, 52, of Springfield, Ohio passed away on Friday December 22nd, 2023. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 31st, 1971 the son of Doris Battles (Hardy).
Dewayne, as he liked to be called, was a family-oriented man that cared deeply for everyone, he always put family first above all else. He loved listening to music, fishing with his daughters, and watching the Auburn or Alabama football games. He always had a great appreciation for the outdoors growing up in Georgia and spending many years in Alabama before moving to Ohio in 2013. Although for the past few years he fought hard against congestive heart failure among other health issues he didn't let it deter him from enjoying life. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his Daughters and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 14 years, Melissa L. Hardy. His brother Ricky Battles; His daughters Tiffany Harper (& daughter-in-law Victoria Meade), Christine Whitmore (& Son-in-law Blake Whitmore), Shianne Hardy, and Harley House; God daughters Ashley Wilson (& Husband Allen Holland) and Janene Wilson (& Fiancé Nolan Holcomb); Grandchildren Brooklynn Whitmore, Isabella Whitmore, Naomi Whitmore, Kaiden Blankenship, Lee Huston, Remington House, Dominic Wilson, Kylie Wilson, Bailee Wilson, Asher Roberts, Bentley Roberts and Adalynn Holcomb; Several Nieces and nephews along with many other family members and friends who loved him deeply. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Doris; his sister Tina Battles; and his families canine companion, Madison.
