Grace Mary Foster

Grace Mary Foster, 78, of Springfield passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 following a brief illness. She was born October 30, 1938 in Leipsic, OH the daughter of Orlo and Beatrice (Fenstermaker) Nemire. Mrs. Foster graduated from Clark State Universitywith an Associate Degree in Applied Business Accounting Technology and retired from Phillips Christian Bookstore after twenty years of service. She had been a member of North Hills Church of God and recently belonged to Springfield Missionary Baptist Church. Grace was also a Past Worthy Matron of Home City Chapter, O.E.S. She is survived by her husband of thirty-seven years William T. Foster; her daughter and son-in-law Joetta (Bass) Bragg and Mark Bragg of Columbus, OH; stepchildren Yvonne (Doug) Hesler of Jamestown and Terry (Kelly) Foster of Springfield; eight grandchildren Jessica, Melissa and Jacob Bragg, Alex, Hayley and Micah Hesler, Jade Foster and Gerrad Wise. Visitation will be Friday from 6 - 8 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME and for one hour prior to the service in church. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM. in the Springfield Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Dave Steinmetz officiating. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery.
