Georgia A. "Peach" Ackley

Georgia A. “Peach” Ackley age 77 of Springfield, passed away peacefully at her residence while surrounded by her family on Friday, March 15, 2024.  She was born the daughter of Jack & Opal (White) Murnahan on May 4, 1946, in Ironton, Ohio.  She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Marilyn, Connie, & Ruth.  Georgia is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Kenneth “Pappy” Ackley; beloved children Arley (Michelle) Ackley of Springfield, DeeDee (Tim) Harris of Springfield, Missy Ackley of Springfield, & Ken (Vodie) Ackley of Springfield; brother Raymond (Marla) Messer; sister Joy Haerr; grandchildren Jonathan, Josh (Jade), Jordan (Telisha), Timmy (Amanda), Tyler (Jaclyn), Kenny III, Kyle (Savannah), Keith (Shelby), Whit, James, & Brandon; 26 great grandchildren; special friends Mary Lou & Robin; several nieces, nephews, & a host of friends.  Georgia was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, & friend.  She will be missed by all of those who love her.  Georgia enjoyed going to the casino with her daughter, searching for bargains at the flea markets, & thrift store, family cookouts & get togethers.  She was known for her homemade chicken and noodles, & her famous cole slaw.  Friends & family may call on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 11AM – 12PM at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio where a funeral service will be held at 12PM with Pastor Ken VanHoose officiating.  Interment to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park
