Georgette Evans

Georgette Evans, 70, of New Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. She was born in Dayton on October 5, 1952, the daughter of the late George and Marjorie Pappas. Jet was a loving mother and grandmother, who loved baking for her family and friends. She was a kind soul who would care for the people in her circle and not ask for anything in return. Jet is preceded in death by her parents and daughter Juanita “Niki” Chapman. She is survived by her children Georgia Chapman, Marjie Evans and Paul Evans; brother Alan (Angie) Pappas; sisters Harriet Pappas and Pauline (Martin) Kobus; grandchildren Carl Chapman, Kolt Chapman, Niko Chapman, Keyonte Evans, Jose Garcia, Carletos Garcia, Fransisco Garcia, Honesty Garcia, Olivia Michalke, Abram Evans and Isaac Evans; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 1-1:30pm with the funeral to honor Jet beginning at 1:30pm in the Chapel at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
