SLANKER, Geneva S. 97, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Friday, August 21, 2015. Born May 29, 1918 in Tipp City, Ohio and a 1936 graduate and active alumni member of Bethel High School (Miami County). She was the daughter of the late Charles & Louisa (Hershberger) Studebaker and wife of Warren G. Slanker (deceased). An active committee member of The Honey Creek Presbyterian Church, she is survived by her sons, Daniel W. (Valerie) of Huber Heights, Ohio and their sons, Andrew & Michael (Lindsey); Stephen C. (Lona) of Tipp City, Ohio, their children, J.J. of Tipp City, Ohio, Joel (Stacy) and their daughters, Theresa, Gracie, & Lucy of Monroe, Ohio; Ted M. (Anne (deceased)) of London, Ohio, their children, Krista (Bill) Houk and their children Samuel & Savanna of West Jefferson, Ohio; Nathan (Amy Weikel) and daughter Annabelle of Columbus, OH; son Craig A. Slanker (deceased) of Cincinnati, Ohio; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A graveside memorial service will be held at Studebaker Cemetery at a date and time to be announced.
