Francis Floyd Lair, 95, of New Carlisle, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017. He was born February 10, 1922 in Clermont County, OH, the son of the late Daniel J. and Fannie Catherine (Shively) Lair. Francis was a farmer, a woodworker and a member of Maple Grove Old German Baptist Brethren Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Glenna Mae Lair; and sisters Erma Lair, Esther Lair and Florence Denlinger. Francis is survived by his son Keith Lair; daughter Mary Ellen (Philip) Gish; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 4-8 PM in Maple Grove Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 7524 Agenbroad Rd., New Carlisle, OH, 45344. Funeral service will be Thursday February 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County. Arrangements have been entrusted to the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME.
