Frances J. Valentine

Frances J. Valentine, 89, of New Carlisle passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at Forest Glen Health Campus. She was born October 22, 1927 in Tipp City, the daughter of the late Jacob A. and Effie M. (Harris) Heffner. Frances was a loving wife, mom, grandmother and great-grandmother, always putting her family first. She is preceded in death by her brothers Charles, Robert and Marvin Heffner; sisters Betty Colegrove, Dale Colegrove and Mildred Barnhart; half-sister Edna Mcaffee; and half-brothers John and Howard Gantz. Frances is survived by her husband of 69 years Richard R. Valentine; children Jim (Marcia Risner-Valentine) Valentine, Joe Valentine, John (Debbie) Valentine and Julia Valentine; grandchildren Ashley and Jonathan Valentine; great-grandson Gregory Pearson; sister-in-law Mildred Heffner; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service to honor Frances will be Friday at 11:00 AM in Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, New Carlisle, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
