Faye Wildman age, 80 of Springfield, went home to be with her Lord & Savior on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Springfield Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born the daughter of Bill J. & Versie Mae (Smith) Bowman on April 23, 1944, in Tazewell, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband William “Bill” Wildman; brothers Ronald & Randy Bowman; brother in laws Jimmy & Red Wildman. Faye is survived by her loving children Vickie (Bruce) Cunningham of Tennessee, David (Carol) Wildman of Woodstock, & Linda (Doug) Lewis of South Vienna; brother Rodney (Sandy) Bowman; sister Glenda Wildman; sisters in law Bootsie, Carol Bowman, & Barb Wildman; brothers in law Johnny, Leroy, Troy (Joan), Frank (Joy) Wildman; grandchildren Bruce Wayne, Julie, Shaun, Lea, Melinda, Brittany, Lisa, Roy Allen, Kelly, & Todd; great grandchildren Bruce Jr., Ryan, Jaxson, Jade, Elizabeth, Vincent, Ivory, Ethan, Ryker, Gabriel, Gage, Harley, Landen, Emmaleigh, Bryson, Wyatt, Evan, & Aria; 1 great great granddaughter Giavannah; several nieces, nephews, many friends, & a host of church family. Faye was a founding member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher & church custodian, as well as secretary in the past. She enjoyed tending to her flowers & plants. She will be remembered for her famous buckeyes & cheesy sausage potato casserole that she took to the annual church homecoming & picnics. In her spare time, she enjoyed nothing more than spending quality time with her family, especially during the holidays. Friends & family may call on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 5PM – 7PM at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, 11AM at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church 2650 Hilldale Rd. Springfield, Ohio with Pastor David Steinmetz officiating. Interment to follow in Vernon Asbury Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made in Faye’s honor to Springfield Missionary Baptist Church.
