Evelyn Louise Rucker

Evelyn L. Rucker, 92, of New Carlisle, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 8, 2023. She was born August 30, 1930, in Alcony, OH, the daughter of the late A. Dennis and Lily R. (Henderson) May. Evelyn retired from Security National Bank, New Carlisle in 1997 after 35 years. She is preceded in death by her husband James Rucker; son Anthony Dennis Rucker; and sister H. Rosalee Bartlett. Evelyn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Michelene and Rick Nowak; daughter-in-law Denise (Steve) Stearns; grandchildren Emily (Cody) Jacob and Lewis (Elise) Rucker; step-grandchildren Connie, David and Robert Nowak; great-grandchildren Anthony James Rucker, Hagen Rucker and London Jacob; niece April (Steve) Coppess; numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, April 17, 2023, from 11am-12pm with the service to honor Evelyn beginning at 12:00pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
