News Death Notice



RAY, Eura Cue 87, of Enon, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016. She was born November 3, 1928 in Chico, TX, the daughter of Wyett S. and Letha (Lyda) Watson. Eura was a retired telephone operator, finishing her career with AT&T, where she was a member of the Pioneer Club. She loved to read, travel and especially enjoyed playing dominoes. Eura is preceded in death by her parents; husband Carl Leonard Ray; and sisters Joyce Hollis, Faye Newton and Jessie Perkey. She is survived by her three sons and two daughters-in-law Gary E. and Deborah Ray of Troy, OH, Robert C. Ray of Guyton, GA, James D. and Patricia Ray of Springfield; two daughters and a son-in-law Janice S. and Richard McCarty of Jackson, OH and Joy R. Campolo of Enon; seven grandchildren Nathan L. (Elizabeth) Ray, Matthew T. Ray, Jami R. Ray, Christy L. Ray, Sarah C. McCarty (Jon) Ellis, James R. (Bethany) McCarty and Marco Campolo; her sister Lourenda Hendershot of Michigan; eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. A funeral service to honor Eura will be Saturday at 10:00 AM in the memorial home with Pastor Jackie Mounts officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
