Eugene Pugh, 86, of New Carlisle joined the love of his life, Carol Pugh in heaven on March 6, 2022. He was born September 15, 1935, in Crossville, TN, the son of the late George and Ora Pugh. Eugene was a veteran of Ohio Army National Guard. He was a lifetime member and former Post Commander of the Amvets Post 148 Medway. Eugene loved spending time with his family, loved ones and friends. He was outgoing, loved by many, loved bowling, golfing, and fishing. He is preceded in death by his wife Carol; grandson Marc Taylor; brother Bobby Pugh; and sisters Ginger Hall and Patsy Seawright. Eugene is survived by his children Debbie (Lee) Shelton, Kathy (Todd) Richards, Billy Pugh, Vicky (Walter) Taylor and Gena (Mark) Risner; brother Gerald Pugh; sister Brenda Robinson; grandchildren Christa (Steve) Russell, Michael (Tracy) Goffinet, Amanda (Bill) Henry, April Brandawie, Jamie Lewis, Heather Lewis, James Pugh, Christina Pugh, Josh Pugh, Brad (Ashley) Taylor, Kyle (Brooke Black) Taylor, Trent (Emily McKillip) Risner, Jescena (Caleb Edwards) Risner and Travis (Tye Parker) Risner; great-grandchildren Kourtney (Trey), Austin, Whitney, Akosh, Mateo, Dakota, Gabe, Abby, Colton and Levi; great-great granddaughter Dixie; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Eugene donated his body for anatomical study to Wright State University. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 24, 2022, at 3:00pm at the Amvets Post 148, 11495 Lower Valley Pk., Medway, OH 45341. The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice and the staff at Vancrest of New Carlisle for their exceptional care. Arrangements have been entrusted to Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
