Eugene "Geno" Keeton

Eugene “Geno” Keeton age 64 of Springfield, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Springfield Regional Medical Center while surrounded by his loving family.  He was born the son of Ray & Lucinda (Elam) Keeton on July 6, 1959, in Springfield, Ohio.  Geno is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Elaine Amburgy, Sheila Keeton, Kathy Warner, & Frankie Blackburn; brother Johny Keeton; nephew Patrick Keeton.  Geno is survived by his beloved wife of over 45 years Joan Keeton; son James (Amanda) Keeton of Springfield; daughter Stacy (Shaun) Pence of Springfield; sisters Judy Blackburn, & Wanda Keeton; grandchildren Brittney, Cody, Megan, Jakob, Emmalie, Maddison, Autumn, Mila, & Maverick; numerous nieces, nephews, & a host of friends. Geno was a loving husband, dad, papaw, brother, & friend.  He will be missed by all of those who love him.  Geno was a master machinist by trade.  He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, scary movies, & watching YouTube videos.   He loved cooking for his family, & the grandkids always looked forward to his “famous” ham & mac n cheese.  Through the good years & the bad Geno was a faithful Dallas Cowboys fan; you could tell by his mood if they won or lost.  Friends may call on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 11AMto 12PM at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E.
