Ethel L Cave

Ethel L. Cave age 90 of Springfield, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Oakwood Village while surrounded by her loving family. She was born the daughter of Wilbur & Margaret (McCalister Wiseman on December 12, 1931 in Champaign County. Ethel is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Cave; brothers Bill & Wilbur Wiseman. She is survived by her sons Robert (Kim) Cave, Joie (Danita) Cave, & Bill Cave all of Springfield; daughters Mary (Don) Whitmore, & Sarah Chriswell both of Springfield; special friend Beverly "Bev" Powell; brothers Ed Wiseman, & Charles "Shorty" Wiseman; 14 grandchildren, many great, & great great children along with a host of nieces, nephews, & many dear friends. Ethel was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, & friend. She will be missed by all of those who love her. In her spare time she enjoyed swimming, watching the Reds, & Bengals; she also enjoyed playing cards with her friends at the senior center. Most of all she enjoyed spending quality time with her family. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 11AM – 12PM at the RICHARDS, RAFF, & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio where a funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 12PM with William Whitmore officiating. Interment to follow in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
