Eric David Ramsey 65, of New Carlisle, passed away peacefully at home August 22, 2022. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late David & Dorothy Ramsey on October 1, 1956. Eric was a graduate of Tecumseh High School class of 1974. He spent many years involved in Boy Scouts Troop 27. Eric enjoyed vacations with his family which always had some kind of funny fishing story involved. He enjoyed being involved in his shooting league. He built and repaired motorcycles as a hobby in his younger years. His father passed along his interest in HAMM radio which became a hobby they shared. Everyday Eric enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset with a drink in his hand.  He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle & Friend. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Jody (Kirlangitis) Ramsey, children, Eric J. (Kylie) Ramsey & Julia (Tim) Ramsey Cook; grandchildren, Eloise & Theo Ramsey, Riley & Reed Cook, and one on the way; sister Gayle (Dave) Armstrong their children, Jared & Ashley; aunt, Melody Ramsey; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11-1pm Friday, September 2, 2022, at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home with the service to follow at 1pm. Burial will take place at New Carlisle Cemetery.
