HALE, Elmer Lee 78 of Springfield died October 4, 2015 in his residence. He was born in Jackson, Ohio on May 26, 1937. He proudly served and retired from the US Army with 22 years 6 months of service. Elmer was preceded in death by his parents Raymond Hunt and Elizabeth Hale. Survivors include his wife Vickie S. Hale; daughters Shawna Meglich and Debbie Compton; sisters Rene Willis and Janet Edwards; brother Don Williams; nephew Jason Williams and other nieces; grandkids; step son Monty Johnson. Services to honor Elmer will be Friday at 11:00AM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial to follow in Hannah Cemetery.
