Elizabeth Hurst Livermore, 84 of Springfield passed away Sunday March 27, 2016 in Forest Glen Health Campus. She was born in Jamestown, TN, the daughter of James and Wytie Hurst. Liz was a member of the Fremont Community Church in Angola, IN and recently, Fellowship Christian (Springhill campus). As an avid reader, poet & prose writer, flower gardener, interior decorator, fabulous cook, Bible teacher and antiques’ entrepreneur, Elizabeth’s most valued and prestigious roles were found in being "Mom" and "Granny." She and husband Chuck also loved to travel, especially to the east coastal states. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, David and Daniel; brothers, Billy, Arnold, Elmo, Loren, John, and Gen Hurst; sisters Alma Hooten, Ellen Stancel, Myrt Catron and Vina Hurst. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Charles "Chuck" Livermore; children, Steve (Susan) Massengale, Robin Washburn, Cathy (Don) Bledsoe, Darren Bryant, Rise Smith, Scott (Kristen) Livermore, Randy Livermore and Patti (Kevin) Colip; brothers, Clell and Larry Hurst; sisters, Patricia "Faye" Everly and Sherry Hurley; seventeen grandchildren, Carrie (Kevin), Joel, Jessee, Lindsay (Brant), Catie (Joe), Gabe (Stephanie), Matthew, Michael, Shana, Kaley, Kara(Michael), Kodi, Melissa, Cheyanne, Jessica, Daniel, and Jonathan; nine great-grandchildren Kaija, Caleb, LeighAshley, Cody, Courtlyn, Bailey, Kendall, Emery, Cayda; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Services to honor Elizabeth will be officiated by Pastor Jeremy Hudson of Fellowship Christian (Springhill campus) on Saturday at Noon in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM until time of services. Burial to follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial contributions are requested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
