Edward C. Mace

Edward "Eddie" Mace, 73 of Springfield, Ohio passed away at his home in the late evening of December 23, 2024, with his loving wife, Dee by his side.

Eddie was born in Ohio to Amil and Ruth Mace and enjoyed a happy childhood with his siblings. Eddie and Dee were married in 1983 and blended their children together into a family. Dee's son, Chad Stout and Eddie's children, Ralph, David and Natalie. They spent many summers and holidays together both in Texas and Ohio making memories as a family.

Eddie was a very talented machinist and used that talent to provide for his family for over fifty years before retiring from Sweet Manufacturing. In his younger years, he also worked on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico.

His favorite hobbies were road trips, camping, spending time in Pigeon Forge and finding off the beaten path flea markets to rummage through.

He enjoyed spending times with his friends at the Union Club every now and then, catching up on each other lives, and talking sports. He loved the Cleveland Browns and THE Ohio State Buckeyes. He's pretty pissed at the Browns right now.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and beloved son Ralph.

He is survived by the love of his life Dee Mace; son, Dave (Brandi) Mace; daughter, Natalie Jones; loyal stepson, Chad; and three adored granddaughters, Gracie, Sadie and Marissa.

Viewing and burial will be held privately for close family and friends.
