Dr. Kerry L. White DC, MSA, BSED lost her courageous battle with cancer on May 24, 2016 in the James Cancer Center of the OSU Wexner Medical Center. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on November 25, 1979, the daughter of Douglas and Sandra White. She was a proud graduate of Northwestern Local Schools, University of Dayton Bachelor of Science in Education, Central Michigan University Masters of Human Resources and Life University Doctorate of Chiropractic. Kerry had several awards including Graduation Honors, 8 Life Proficiencies integrative change 12th quarter, There is no crying in baseball award, National Honor Society, First Team All-State softball, All-American Girl Softball Champion of the year, Student Counsel service award, Presidential Athletic Award, House of Representatives Athletic award, Holds Northwestern High School records for Most triples in a season, Most career triples, Most career RBI, Perfect Attendance award for all 13 years at Northwestern, Sarah Kibbler Academic Award, District 9 All Star Volleyball, Broke school record for Discus, UD Softball Rookie of the year, Atlantic 10 all conference First Team, still holds the record for career triples and ranks 4th in doubles, 4-H Grand Champion Dairy Feeder. Her achievements included Student Council excellence award, Perfect attendance, National Honors Society, Prom Court, Junior Fair Board, UD Softball Rookie of year, Atlantic 10 all conference First team, Ladies Knight select soccer, Selina Suns National team, Buckeye Express Select team, Class President, Woman’s Varsity Softball at University of Dayton, Student Athletic Advisory Board, Christmas on Campus Board. In her spare time she enjoyed Softball, Volleyball, Basketball, Biking, Hiking, Traveling, Reading, Inspiring others. Kerry was extremely proud of her employment accomplishments as a Chiropractic Intern- Life University Extension Clinic, Exercise Physiologist- Kettering Sports Acceleration, Georgia State Licensed Chiropractor, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Certified Reiki Practitioner. She is survived by her parents Doug and Sandy White; her four legged companions Kahlua, Frankie and Tinker; sister Kimberly S. (Brad) Pappert Harris; niece Addyson Kay Harris, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends at home and Life University. Kerry was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents William & Alverda Rider and Arthur & Margaret White. A celebration of Kerry’s life will be Tuesday at 2:00 in the First Christian Church with Brian Borton officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday at the church from Noon until time of service. Burial to follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. As a celebration to Kerry, the family wishes for those attending to be casual or sports attire dressed.
