Dorothy Jean Crawford, 93, of Springfield, OH formerly of Loveland, CO, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015. She was born July 22, 1922 in Oakmont, PA, the daughter of Charles Henry and Anna Mae (Wilhelm) Walter, Sr. Jean was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and was an avid member of the Loveland Archeological society, PEO, an accomplished seamstress, loved crafts, camping, hiking, hunting arrowheads and travel. She was a devoted wife to Allen for 68 years and encouraged and supported all his many interests. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Allen Ray Crawford; beloved son-in-law Roger Lee Miracle; and a brother Charles Walter, Jr. Jean is survived by her daughter Carol Miracle; sons Dr. Allen Ray (Cheryl) Crawford, Jr. and Douglas Charles (Barbara) Crawford; grandchildren Kathryn Miracle, Rebecca (Corey Simpkins) Miracle, Spencer Crawford, Matthew (Danielle) Crawford and Jennifer (Jeremiah Burton) Crawford; great-grandchildren Breanna and Lauren Simpkins, Chloe Miracle, Gianna and Brenna Crawford and Brayden Schlicker; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service to honor Jean will be Saturday, January 9, 2016 with a time to be determined in the Covenant Presbyterian Church.
