News Death Notice

GRIMM, Doris 84, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed Sunday July 12, 2015. She was born May 6, 1931 in Clark County, Ohio the daughter of the late John & Cleo (Taylor) Moore. Doris was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was a lifelong member of the New Carlisle Church of the Brethren. She is survived by; two daughters, Jane Slanker, Judy & Glenn Cox all of New Carlisle; granddaughter, Deena (Slanker) & Brian Green of Muncie, Indiana; grandsons; Dave & Katie Slanker of Springfield, Andy & Britt Cox and Kevin Cox all of New Carlisle; five great grandchildren, Olivia & Natalie Green, Nathaniel & Brandon Slanker, Penelope Cox; a brother, Ralph & Jo Moore; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Bill Grimm; son-in-law, Jim Slanker; six brothers. A gathering of family and friends will be held 6-8 PM Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday in the funeral home with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery.
