Donna M. Scerba

Donna M. Scerba, 72, of Springfield passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 after several months of illness. She was born December 24, 1944 in Springfield the daughter of Roger and Burnetta (Waugh) Bowman and was a 1963 graduate of South High School. Donna worked at International Steel Wool for twenty-two years, then retired from Assurant Group after ten years. She was a life member of VFW Post 1031. Donna is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Charles E. Scerba; three sons Charles R. Scerba, Steven E. (Marie) Scerba, and Robert A. Scerba; two sisters Debbie (Robert) Parks and Cindy Bucci, all of Springfield; two granddaughters Brittany and Rylie Scerba; and a great grandson David Edward Parker. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Danny Bowman. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 -2 PM. in RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Donna’s life will be Tuesday at 2:00 PM. in the Memorial Home with Rev. Danny Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Vale Cemetery.
