Donna Mae Rentschler

Donna Mae Rentschler 98, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2022. She was born January 19,1924 in Evansville Indiana to the late Edward & Marceda (Grillot) Huffman. Surpassed only by dedication to her family, she loved music and the performing arts. She attended The Juiliard School and had leads and supporting roles in community theater productions.

She is survived by her three sons, Lawrence Rentschler and former spouse Susan Roberts, James Rentschler former spouse Wendy Landstrom Rentschler, grandchildren, William and Ingrid Rentschler, Michael Rentschler, his spouse Daniel Russell, granddaughter Gretchen and grandson Grif by their mother Lisa, great grandson Briton; niece, Claudia French, Nephew Gene Huffman and many other relatives and friends.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Wilbur Eugene Rentschler, brother, Dr. Eugene Huffman. Services for Donna Mae will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at trostelchapman.com
