Donald Predovich

Donald Predovich, age 78 of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.  He was the son of John Predovich & Sylvia (Beaver) Predovich Bauer, born on November 15, 1945, in Bedford, Ohio.  He is preceded in death by his parents; beloved stepfather Jack Bauer; brother John L. Predovich; several aunts & uncles.  Donald is survived by his son Chad (Jennifer) Predovich; grandchildren Ethan, Owen, Logan, & Adalyn; sister Anita (Frank) Neff; aunts Avanelle Shirk & Donna Anderson; nephews Josh (Gina) Predovich & Brad (Margaret) Neff; niece Shelli (Jim) Ledford; ex-wife Elaine Predovich; sister-in-law Mimi Jacoby; many cousins; good friends Buck Travis & Jim Peters.  Donald was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, & friend.  He will be missed by all of those who loved him.  Donald graduated from Springfield South HS and was a proud member of the United States Air Force, which he served for four years.  During his military career, he was stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base & also served time in Japan.  Upon completing his time in the military, he was a faithful employee at International Harvester for 36 years, & later worked for Laird’s Tax Service until shortly before his death. While working at IH, he went back to school and graduated from Clark State.  Donald was a very selfless man who always went out of his way to help people. He loved his grandkids dearly. He was always eager to show photos of them to his friends.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Donald’s name to the American Cancer Society.  A reception to celebrate Donald’s life will be announced at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com
