Dianne "Nanny" Slusher

Dianne (Nanny) Slusher met the Lord on April 23, 2017 at 12:10 p.m. in her home with loved ones in Mount Dora, Florida. She was born in Covington, KY on April 4, 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Eugene Sewell and Ruby Sewell, her son David Barton Hensley and her brothers John Sewell and Danny Sewell.

Nanny spent her whole life taking care of everyone. She was the best example of a mother, grandmother (Nanny), person and friend, and was loved by anyone who met her. Our lives/hearts will have a void that was filled by her generosity and kindness. Her daughter, Kim, says that Nanny was the best decision Poppa ever made, and she will be missed dearly by all.

She is survived by her husband, soul mate and best friend Kenneth Slusher (Poppa); sisters Donna Sewell and Cathy Sewell; daughters Kim Weimer, Casandra Slusher, Tiffany Lewis and Tina Hensley; her sons Kenny Slusher, Jerry Slusher and Jeff Slusher; Grandchildren Kenny Slusher Jr., Josh Weimer, Phillip Slusher, Kaleb Slusher, Kourtney Slusher, Kameron Slusher, Jenna Slusher, Erica Slusher, Elizabeth Slusher, Jared Slusher, Brittany Allender and Alicia Hensley; and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, April 28, 2017 from 2 PM. - 6 PM. at the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home, 838 East High St., Springfield, OH 45505. Services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 in the Chapel at Rose Hill Burial Park.
