Delores P Humphrey

Delores P. Humphrey, 89, of Springfield passed away peacefully Sunday, October 16, 2016. She was born January 13, 1927 in East Liverpool, OH the daughter of Francis and Margaret (Owen) McGinnis. Delores was a traditional stay at home mother and grandmother. She wasa big fan of Notre Dame football and NASCAR, with Jeff Gordon being her favorite driver. She is survived by six daughters, Margaret A. Hayden of South Charleston, Sue Humphrey-Taylor, Sandra Bowers and Sharyn Newell, all of Springfield; eight grandchildren Richard and Joseph Hayden, Zayne Humphrey-Taylor, Katie Bowers (fiance ‘ Casey Jones), Ian Newell, K.C. Williamson, Kevin and Keith Clark; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred W. Humphrey in 1994; father Francis McGinnis; mother Margaret Brown, stepfather Robert Brown; brother Edwin (Marie) McGinnis; stepbrothers Thomas and Robert Brown; sisters-in-law Hester Bennett, Sarah Jaffe and Frances Bailey; grandson Freddy Hayden; great grandson Dale Hayden; sons-in-law Emery Bowers, Kevin Newell and Vernon Taylor; and lifelong friend Loraine Martin. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 PM. in RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Delores’s life will be Thursday at 1:00 PM. in the Memorial Home with Rev.
