Debra "Debby" Davis

Davis, Debra "Debby" Age 60 of Union, OH (formally of Vandalia) passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at The Hospice of Dayton after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on November 2, 1956 in Dayton, OH to the late Ishmael and Patsy Lee Jones. Debby is a 1974 graduate of Tecumseh High School. She worked for 17 years at PriMed of Vandalia where she truly cherished the patients and loved her coworkers dearly. Debby’s favorite past times were boating on Lake Cumberland and spending time in Colorado. She is preceded in death by her parents and beloved dog, Phoebe. She is survived by her loving husband, Doug Davis; daughters Denise Sluterbeck (Brian Papa) of New York City, and Dayna Sluterbeck of Dayton; brother John (Regina) Jones of New Carlisle, nephews Michael and Matthew, niece Julia, and several other loving relatives and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, May 17 from 5:00-8:00pm at TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME (507 West Jefferson Street, New Carlisle, OH). Funeral service will be held Thursday May 18 at 11:00am at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
