Deborah W. "Debbie" Sharp

Deborah W. “Debbie” Sharp, 69, of New Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. She was born September 16, 1953, in Dayton, the daughter of the late Hubert and Peggy Eldridge. Debbie retired from W.P.A.F.B. after 30 years. She was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, New Carlisle #3491, where she was active in the Women’s Auxiliary, ritual competitions and many charities. On the state level she was the current State Secretary for the F.O.E., Debbie enjoyed traveling to many different state and national conventions for the F.O.E. She was a loving wife, mother and mamaw. Debbie is survived by her husband of 25 years Charles; daughter Adrienne (Jerry Salyer) Rhodes; grandson Jason Rhodes II; brother Steve (Maria) Eldridge; nieces Debbie (Paul) Knisely and Veronica (David) Adams; nephew Richie (Maranda) Eldridge; many extended family and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, August 7, 2023, from 5-8pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home. The funeral service to honor Debbie will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at 10:00am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at New Carlisle Cemetery.
