Debora Creager Algren
69, of Springfield, OH, passed peacefully from this Earth on August 31, 2016. Debora was born on March 5, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Basil W. Cason and Joan E. Kingdom. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She graduated from the very first class from Fairmont East in Kettering in 1965. She was the founder and owner of Dayton Capscrew Co where she operated a successful business for over 30 years. Her grandchildren were blessed with many years of generosity, friendship and a role model for strength, determination, and a love of life. She enjoyed spending time knitting, gardening, traveling, and crossword puzzles. She portrayed her English heritage with grace and elegant traits not often seen in society today. She was without question the quickest wit in the family with a great sense of humor even battling through her long term health issues. Debby will be remembered for her strong will, determination, compassion, and making family and friends alike feel welcome and loved, In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Creager Jr. and brother, Basil (Baz) Cason both from Dayton. She is survived by her children Kellay (Scott) Thompson of Dayton and Tracey (Tony) Cooper of Springfield, grandchildren; Christopher Thompson of Kettering, Nicholas R. Thompson of Fairborn, Michael A. Nichols of Christiansburg, Jenelle E. Cooper of Columbus, Raymond Reed Cooper of Greeley, CO, Nicole E Hall (Bradly) of Albuquerque, NM, Devyn G. Cooper, Trevor S.
