DEAN PENCIL
83, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 in Tennessee. He was born May 9, 1932 in North Hampton, Ohio the son of the late Calvin & Lillie (Davis) Pencil. He was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, was the owner of Pencil’s Garage & Body Shop retiring in 2001 and was a member of many years in the Maiden Lane Church of God. He is survived by his wife, of 56 years, Phyllis Pencil; children, Randy Pencil, Jeff & Mary Pencil, Tony (Melissa) Pencil; loving granddaughter & fishing buddy,Cassie Pencil; step granddaughters, Billie (Andy) Blanton, Bobbie (Matt) Hemry, Buffie (Josh) Cosentino; many step great grandchildren all of Springfield; brothers, Robert (Ruth) Pencil, Jerry (Ree) Pencil; sisters, Luetta Haulman, Emma (Bill) Johnson; brothers-in-law, Steve (Angie)Scott & Jimmie (Pat) Scott; niece & fishing buddy,Stephanie (Derek) Roberts; nephew & very special fishing buddy, Dustin (Casey) Scott & family;many other lovingnieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Albert, Charles, Harley & Doug; sisters, Carol, Katherine & Velma. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday in the funeral home with Rev. Ron Riley officiating.Burial will be in Myers Cemetery. Memorial contribution in memory of Dean may be made to the American Heart Association.
