Danielle L. Melton

Danielle L Melton, 47, of Springfield, passed peacefully in her sleep, October 29, 2023. She was a loving and generous wife, devoted mother, doting grandmother and a true and faithful friend. She loved spending time with loved ones, collecting crystals and searching for seashells on the beach. Danielle worked as Quality Control at McGregor Metalworks, Leffels location. She had recently rekindled a passion for jewelry making and design.  She is preceded in death by her granddaughter Mackenzie Elysse "Zizi" Melton; father Randall K Foster;  mother Cynthia L Foster (Ketchell); and her grandparents. Danielle is survived by her husband Jesse P Melton; children Melinda J Melton, Mackenzie A Melton, Mickell L Melton, Tristian M Kompar, and Nevaeh J Kompar; grandchildren Ciel "Boogie", Aurora "Rora", and Kiran "Bitty" Miller; her best and closest friend Jennifer Brownfield, her husband and dear friend Mike Brownfield and their family Andrea Hawley and Marcus Reeder; four uncles, three aunts and countless cousins and many friends, all of whom were dear to her and held a special place in her heart. Danielle we all love and miss you and your loss will leave a void in our hearts and lives.
