Darrell R. Hicks

Darrell R. Hicks, 66, of Mechanicsburg, went home to be with the Lord on November 11th, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Darrell was born July 27, 1957. He worked at Springfield Regional Medical Center for many years, where he gained many friends. Darrell is survived by his wife of 34 years, Robin Williams; children Amy Hicks of Sabina, Travis (Jessica) Williams of Columbus and Tiffany (Aaron) Williams of Springfield; grandchildren Ava, Alyvia, Logan and Milo; his cherished mother-in-law Nancy Williams, whom he called “Granny”; numerous brothers and sisters; special in-laws Tye Williams and Tina and Dave Avery; special friends John and April. Darrell was a Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State fan, who enjoyed staying home with his beloved dog, Simba. A memorial gathering in remembrance will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 12-2pm at Greater First Baptist Church, 1175 Upper Valley Pike, Springfield, OH 45504.
