Darrel Mark Blackburn

Darrel Mark Blackburn, 66, of Xenia, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022. He was born on June 23, 1956, in Troy, OH, the son of late Richard and Mildred Blackburn. Darrel worked as a service advisor for many years and most recently at Joseph Airport Toyota. He was a member of the Rona Community Church and was a past board member of the Ludlow Falls Campground. Darrel was a lifelong sports fan and always cheered on his kids and grandkids at their sporting events. Darrel is survived by his wife Becki Blackburn; sons Joshua Blackburn and Joel (Heather) Blackburn; daughter Dara Blackburn; brothers Neal (Barbara) Blackburn and Roger (Mary) Blackburn; grandchildren Ashley, Claire and Briley Blackburn and Casey, Emma and Cooper Potts; sister-in-law Karen (Tim) Thomas; brother-in-law Jim (Marti) Boyd; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law Bruce Boyd and Perry Pittroff. Visitation will be held Friday, December 23, 2022, from 5-7pm with the service to honor Darrel beginning at 7:00pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
