Daniel Wayne Galbreath

Daniel Wayne Galbreath 64, of New Carlisle passed away peacefully August 10, 2022. He was born in Dayton to the late Horace Galbreath & Barbara Butler. He grew up and when to school in Dayton, Ohio. Dan was a veteran of the Army National Guard where he was a sharpshooter. He worked as a mason for many years in the Dayton area. Dan was the life of the party and love to spend his free time outdoors gardening, playing poker, chess and fishing with his family & friends. He especially loved riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers with his granddaughter Taylor. You would never see him without his bandanna and was lovingly referred to as “Bandanna Dan”. He was married to the love of his life, Melanie on June 11, 1977. He is survived by Melanie, his daughters Angel (Greg DeLong) Galbreath & Ashley Galbreath; grandchildren, Taylor DeLong, Jayden Rambo, London Alltop; great grandsons, Zeke Taynor & Oliver Nangle; siblings, Alan, June Ann, Marlene, Darleen, Chrissy Galbreath & stepbrother David Reed. Along with his Parents he is preceded in death by his brother William Galbreath. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022, from 2-3pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, with the service to follow at 3pm. Online condolences may be made at trostelchapman.com
