Daniel Aaron Joseph Campbell

Daniel Aaron Joseph Campbell, 75, of Springfield passed away surrounded by his family Sunday, April 3, 2016. He was born December 8, 1940 in Springfield, the son of Joseph and Thelma (Maul) Campbell. Dan was a 1960 graduate of Catholic Central and had retired from Ohio Edison after thirty plus years. He also enjoyed volunteering for St. Vincent DePaul. Dan is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Marjorie and Ann; and a brother John. He is survived by his wife, whom he married May 5, 1979, Shirley A. (Gregson) Campbell; children Michael (Becky) Campbell, Jason Getz, Tammy (Ben) Getz-Wright and Patricia Yeary; sisters Joan, Rosemary, Sarah and Chris; grandchildren Kylie, Andrew, Dustin, Chris, Ashley, Lauren and best buddy Dillon Michael; many nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at Dan’s request. Arrangements have been entrusted to Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home.
