News Death Notice



WALTERS, Dana Ann (Sara Elizabeth Lansing) 51, of Yellow Springs, Ohio, passed away Wednesday January 27, 2016 from complications of a birth defect. She was born June 16, 1964 in Newport Beach, California to parents Jim and Dottie Walters. She was a graduate of Carroll High School in Dayton, Ohio in 1983 and also a graduate of Sinclair Community College. She is survived by a son, Jason Lansing; parents, Jim and Dottie Walters; brother, Shawn (Sherrie) Walters; brother, Josh (Lola) Walters, and sister Jamie (Don) Chmiel, 15 nieces and nephews, 5 great nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Visitation will be held at The Catholic Church of Ascension 2025 Woodman Drive Kettering, Ohio at 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00. Internment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton following the mass. Services are being handled by Trostel Chapman Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home in New Carlisle, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to The Jason Lansing Education Fund at Universal One Credit Union.
