Cris A. Rexrode

Cris A. Rexrode 67, of New Carlisle passed away November 11, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Dayton to the late Carl G. & Mary Ann Rexrode on October 3, 1955. Cris was a Past Master of St. Andrews Masonic Lodge No. 619, Past High Priest of Springfield Chapter No. 48, Past Commander of Palestine Commandery No. 33, Scottish Rite 32°, and Active member of Khana Shahar Grotto. He retired after 27 years of service from US Xpress. He also worked for 20 years at Shopsmith. Cris loved riding motorcycles and photography. He is survived by his High School sweetheart, his beloved wife of 48 years Teresa Rexrode. His two sons Mark (Ivy) Rexrode & Brian Rexrode, grandchildren Alexie (Bobby) Barnas, Jose Claudio, Matthew Perez, Cristan Rexrode, Faithlin Rexrode, Addison Rexrode, Presley Rexrode, great granddaughter Zoey Barnas; sisters, Bonnie (Brian) Alexander & Penny Rexrode, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl B. & Geraldine Rexrode and Carl J. & Ruth Deis. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 5-7 pm with a memorial service to honor Cris beginning at 7:00pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home.
